Shredders that are usually compact and lightweight in design. They are designed for occasional use only - typically 10-20 shredding passes per day. If used much more than this they are liable to overheat if used continuously for too long and will wear out quite quickly. They are only designed for fairly light shredding tasks and will only manage a few sheets in a single pass. Large staples and paper clips should also be avoided whenever possible.
